The 11th Annual European Supply Chain & Logistics (SCL) Summit organised by World Trade Group will once again this year be held at the Swissôtel in Düsseldorf. The event brings together senior executives and supply chain practitioners from leading international companies over three days to explore and debate the key supply chain challenges and opportunities that businesses face.

This year Solving Efeso is delighted to be represented as Lead Operations Excellence Sponsor at SCL Summit 2009 in recognition of the expansion of the company’s proprietary “world class operations management” (WCOM™) system into the full supply chain – which now includes modules for logistics, sales and operations planning and demand driven supply chain management.

“Connecting Demand with Supply – how to achieve a commercially effective supply chain through world class practices in demand management, sales and operations”.

This interactive workshop will address how the best companies are raising the bar in standards of commercial supply chain management, better aligning demand and supply side functions to drive increased customer value and lower total cost to serve.
Key topics to be addressed will be;
•  Differentiating “good complexity” from “bad complexity”
•  What Operations excellence means in demand management and executive S&OP
•  Stakeholder engagement – achieving a breakthrough in supply chain relationship
